What's the meaning of "Sticks and Biscuits"?

-- This Thanksgiving 5K is organized by the Palmyra Ice Hockey Club, which uses "Sticks", and "Biscuits" is hockey slang for the puck.

The Sticks & Biscuits is one of the most successful Thanksgiving Day 5K's in Central PA. In order to give all participants the best possible experience, this year's race will offer two waves, an 8am start and a 9am start. We will also offer the option of racing virtually for people who are not comfortable racing in person, not in the area, or after the in person field is full. ENTRIES RECEIVED BY MIDNIGHT ON NOVEMBER 11TH ALSO GET OUR FAMOUS LONG-SLEEVE TECH SHIRT! After 11/11, shirts will be available for sale on a first come first serve basis. This year's race helps fund the Palmyra Ice Hockey Club and also benefits local charities.
