Participants can take part in a timed 5K run/walk along the scenic Fountain Blvd., complete with professional chip timing and memorable race photos provided by Speedy Feet.
Not only will you enjoy a spirited morning of running, but you'll also be contributing to the Special Olympics in Clark County, making a positive impact in the community. Prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers, along with age group awards, ensuring a competitive yet festive atmosphere. Don't forget to pick up your race packet at Springfield Health and Fitness on Wednesday from 5 PM to 8 PM, as there will be no race day registration. This Thanksgiving Day race is in its 17th year! Proceeds benefits Special Olympics. It's a great way to start your Thanksgiving and for a great cause. This year, there is only a Timed 5k Run/walk
The Timed 5k Race is our traditional 5k route on Fountain Blvd. with Speedy Feet providing chip timing, pictures, video and results. For the 5k, there are awards for the top 3 male and top 3 female finishers plus age group awards.
Proceeds from this event benefit Clark County Special Olympics.
