Get ready for an exhilarating day of running at the Stonington Cross Country 5K on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, in Pawcatuck, Southeastern Connecticut! This exciting event will kick off on the track, where participants will complete a loop before transitioning to a scenic ½ mile run through the peaceful streets of the school campus. Runners will then dive into a beautiful mix of single and double track trails, enjoying the natural surroundings. The course culminates on a grassy surface, leading to a stunning bridge crossing before finishing at the iconic 50-yard line on the track. Organiser's Description
Registration and course start will be on the track. After one loop on the track, we will run 1/2 mile on quiet dead end streets on the school campus, before moving into the trails (mix of single- and double track). We will exit the trails onto grass running surfaces, before crossing a picturesque bridge and finishing at the 50-yard line on the track.
