SUPPORT THE CAUSE: Join us on OCTOBER 26TH at Luther Burbank Park on Mercer Island for a fun, Halloween-themed run supporting scholarships for girls in Kenya! Hosted by PETRI, A MERCER ISLAND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT CLUB partnered with our incredible parent organization, a 501C(3) NONPROFIT CALLED SEAVURIA, this event raises funds to keep students in school and expand access to STEM education. 100% OF PROCEEDS GO DIRECTLY TO OUR SCHOLARS IN TAITA-TAVETA, KENYA. Lace up, dress up, and help us STRIDE TOWARD EQUAL EDUCATION ACCESS!

GET IN THE SPIRIT OF HALLOWEEN: All participants are encouraged to race in their best HALLOWEEN COSTUME. Awards will be given to those deemed the most spirited.
KIDS 1K DETAILS: Race down the beautiful trails at Luther Burbank Park while collecting Halloween-themed goodies along the way. We recommend bringing a bag/bucket suitable for Trick-or-Treating to carry your treasures during this thrilling race.
PARKING: Luther Burbank has two parking lots, SOUTH LOT (https://maps.app.goo.gl/AjAHjAD3x89jSE1A6) [https://maps.app.goo.gl/AjAHjAD3x89jSE1A6%29] and NORTH LOT (https://maps.app.goo.gl/TJz2oufw24WQdEx5A) [https://maps.app.goo.gl/TJz2oufw24WQdEx5A%29]. The course start and finish are located between the two lots, in Meadow B. The North lot, located by the pickleball courts, has an ADA accessibility ramp. Check-in and bib collection for all races opens at 8:30 AM on race day
DAY OF REGISTRATION: Online registration closes a week before the race on October 20th. If you miss the online registration deadline, you may register in person, on the day of the race, before the race begins (October 26th). The fee for day-of-registration will be $55 for the 5K, and $35 for the Kids 1K. Registration and check-in begin at 8:30 AM.
COURSE MAP DETAILS: Use the LINK BELOW for the 5K map. The Kids 1K course will follow the beginning of the 5K map, then cut left once they reach the docks near the restrooms, and then return to the 5K finish.
