Join us for the vibrant Strides for Strength event on Saturday, October 3rd, 2026, in Mansfield, Johnson! This inspiring 5K run and Family Fun Mile is not just about running or walking; it’s about uniting as a community to honor the fighters and their families who bravely battle cancer. Formerly known as Run for a Cure, Strides for Strength continues its powerful mission of support and awareness, and registration is officially open!
Participants will receive a performance shirt while supplies last and finishers will be awarded a medal to commemorate their achievement. Even if you can’t join us on the course, you can still make a difference by donating to support Livestrong at the YMCA and Texas Health Women's Services. Let’s come together to celebrate survivors, show our support, and create a pink-powered atmosphere that uplifts and inspires everyone. We can’t wait to see you there!

New name, same powerful mission. Strides for Strength (formerly Run for a Cure) is headed to Mansfield on October 3rd and REGISTRATION IS OFFICIALLY OPEN! Get ready for a pink-powered 5K and Family Fun Mile dedicated to the fighters and the families who stand beside them.

UNITE: Celebrate the survivors who inspire us.
GIVE: Can't attend? Donate to support Livestrong at the YMCA and Texas Health Women's Services.
Participants receive a performance shirt, while inventory is available. Finishers receive a medal.
_NOTICE: While our shirt ordering deadline has passed and we can no longer guarantee an official race tee, we are so excited to have you run with us! Your support and participation are what truly make this event special, and we cant wait to cheer you on at the finish line._
