Join Home for Families (HFF) for our inaugural Strong Like a Mother 5K, presented by Hexion, on the morning of Sunday, May 10 (Mothers Day), at Wolfe Park in Columbus, and go the distance for moms and families facing severe housing instability. Nearly 90% of our households are led by women, two-thirds have been mothers, and most have been single mothers. So, whether you're running the 5K, participating in the timed 1K Family Fun Run, or enjoying a leisurely 1K walk, your support will help HFF go the extra mile to prevent homelessness for moms and their families.

As one of the largest non-shelter housing providers for low-income families in Columbus, Home for Families works behind the scenes with a network of landlords, government agencies, and community partners to provide safe, secure, and affordable housing solutions to over 1,200 families experiencing housing crises each year. We are a familys exit plan from shelter and actively partner with them to resolve ongoing barriers to housing and provide long-term solutions for stability.

Please note that no pets are allowed at this event. Service animals specifically trained to aid people with a disability are welcome.
