Join Home for Families (HFF) for the Strong Like a Mother 5K, presented by Hexion, on the morning of Sunday, May 9 (Mothers Day), at Wolfe Park in Columbus, and go the distance for moms and families facing severe housing instability. Nearly 90% of our households are led by women, two-thirds have been mothers, and most have been single mothers. So, whether you're running the 5K, participating in the timed 1K Family Fun Run, or enjoying a leisurely 1K walk, your support will help HFF go the extra mile to prevent homelessness for moms and their families.

As one of the largest non-shelter housing providers for low-income families in Columbus, Home for Families works behind the scenes with a network of landlords, government agencies, and community partners to provide safe, secure, and affordable housing solutions to over 1,200 families experiencing housing crises each year. We are a familys exit plan from shelter and actively partner with them to resolve ongoing barriers to housing and provide long-term solutions for stability.

Please note that no pets are allowed at this event. Service animals specifically trained to aid people with a disability are welcome.
