Join us for the Strong Shall Stand 5K Run & Ruck on Saturday, November 15, 2025, in Longview, Gregg, Texas! This uplifting event is more than just a race; it’s a heartfelt tribute to the courageous individuals who protect, serve, and heal our communities. Participants can choose between a competitive 5K Run or a non-competitive 5K Ruck, with both distances promoting physical fitness and camaraderie. The ruck is designed for those looking to add a challenge, as participants carry weights not exceeding 40 pounds.
Registrants will receive a custom performance shirt, chip-timed results, and a finisher item, with medals awarded to the first 100 run finishers and buttons for the first 50 ruck finishers. The day kicks off with packet pickup at 7:00 AM, followed by the 5K Ruck starting at 8:00 AM and the 5K Run at 8:15 AM. Plus, there’s a special Kids Dash for the little ones! A portion of the proceeds will benefit Operation True North, providing essential mental health services to veterans and first responders.
