Get ready for an exhilarating day of fun and fitness at the Sturgeon Spectacular 5k and Kids Fun Run taking place on Saturday, February 8, 2025, in downtown Fond du Lac! This exciting 5k run/walk will take participants along a scenic course that circles from downtown to the beautiful paved path and back. The event kicks off with registration starting at 9 AM inside Thelma, where you can also sign up for the race on the day of the event.
The highlight for young runners is the free 1/2 mile Kids Fun Run, designed for children aged 12 and under, which includes a stylish long-sleeved T-shirt. For those ready to take on the 5k challenge, registration is just $15 until January 21, with a commemorative long-sleeved T-shirt available for $25. After January 21, the entry fee increases to $20, so be sure to register early! Participants of all ages are welcome, and those with strollers or dogs are kindly asked to line up at the back at the start. Don't miss out on the vibrant Sturgeon Spectacular festivities that will follow the race, making for a fantastic day in Fond du Lac!

Organiser's Description
Come and join us for an exciting 5k run/walk in downtown Fond du Lac. The course will circle from downtown to the paved path and back downtown. Online registration is open through 2/7. Race day registration will begin at 9am on 2/8 in downtown FDL inside Thelma. The 1/2 mile Kids Fun Run for ages 12 and under is absolutely free and includes a long-sleeved T-shirt (adult sizes only). Or join us for the 5K Run/Walk (open to all ages). Price for the run/walk entry (without a long-sleeved shirt is $15 through midnight on 1/21. If youd like a 2025 commemorative long-sleeved T-shirt, the price for run/walk registration plus shirt is $25. After 1/21, t-shirts will no longer be available and the 5k registration is $20 for all.
