Summer Sprint 5000 Saturday, June 29th5K Run (3.1 miles)
Race InformationCelebrate the summer with a scenic, USATF-certified trail race around beautiful Midlothian. Race features include a t-shirt, race medal (must register before the cutoff date), chip-timed results, and cash prizes for overall winners. After the race, stay and enjoy a free drink ticket (ages 21+) and snacks at the finish line.
What is included with your race entry:• A first-class running experience• Chip-timing for accurate results.• A totally set up and well-marked course.• One-of-a-kind Prizes and Race Swag
Start Times: 8 am
Packet Pickup: There will be Friday packet pickup TBA. Will take place on race day at the start area.
Course Type: Paved Trail
Stroller friendly? Yes
Dogs allowed? Yes
Dogs & Strollers, please start at the back or the race start.
Transportation: Parking is available at the start area. There is an overflow lot available at Bremen High School.
Awards: We will award medals to the top ten overall finishers and the top three in the following age groups: 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69, & 70 +. Awards will be presented at approximately 9:15 pm.
Prize Money Men & Women Overall
1st Place- $500
2nd Place- $250
3rd Place- $100
Masters Prize Money Men & Women 40 and older
1st Place- $300
2nd Place- $150
3rd Place- $75
Elite Entry: To be considered for a free elite entry email us your race results.
Course time limit is 1 hour.
