Join us for the exciting Sun and Sand 5K on Saturday, July 19, 2025, in beautiful North Wildwood, Cape May! This vibrant event not only promises a day of fun and fitness but also supports the North Wildwood Police Officers Association and their charitable initiatives.
Starting at the iconic 22nd Avenue and the Boardwalk, participants will enjoy a scenic run along the beach, making for a safe and enjoyable experience without any sandy obstacles. Runners will compete for awards in various categories, including the overall top male and female, as well as age group prizes for those aged 1-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+. Additionally, teams can register to compete in the Civilian, Police, Fire, and Beach Patrol categories, with the top three finishers from each team contributing to the overall score. Be sure to sign up by July 3 to secure your race t-shirt and be part of this fantastic community event!

New for 2025: The race will take place along the beach, to limit the amount of road closures and promote the most safety for participants. The race will NOT take place on any sand. Starting line will be 22nd Ave and the Boardwalk.
Awards, first overall male and female and age groups 3 deep male and female, 1-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60+. Team Competition: Top 3 teams Civilian, Police, Fire, and Beach Patrol. Minimum 5 members each, top 3 on each team score.
