Join us for the exhilarating Sunny Willow Youth Splash and Dash on Saturday, July 12th, 2025, at Willow Grove in Montgomery! This exciting event invites young athletes aged 7-15 to dive into the world of multi-sport competition through an engaging aquathlon format. Participants in the 7-10 age group will tackle a fun 100-meter pool swim followed by a 1-kilometer run, while those aged 11-15 will take on a slightly more challenging 150-meter swim and a 1.5-kilometer run.
Not only will all participants receive a custom finishers medal to commemorate their achievement, but they will also enjoy a complimentary breakfast after the race! Sanctioned by USA Triathlon, this event ensures a safe and well-organized experience for all. Organiser's Description
The Sunny Willow Swim Club will host a Splash and Dash event for participants ages 7-15. The event is designed to introduce youth athletes to multi-sport competitions through the discipline of aquathlon (swim-run). Participants ages 7-10 will complete a 100 meter pool swim and 1 kilometer run, while athletes ages 11-15 will complete a 150 meter pool swim and 1.5 kilometer run. ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE A CUSTOM FINISHERS MEDAL AND COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST!

The Sunny Willow Splash & Dash is sanctioned by USA Triathlon (USAT), the governing body of multisport in North America. One of the many roles played by USAT is that of insurance provider for this race. As such, USAT requires that every participant be either (1) an annual member, or (2) purchase a one day membership. Memberships can be purchased during online registration.
