Organiser's Description

Visit Sunset Mountain today and run naked!

The Naked Mile Challenge is a virtual event where you log and track your own naked miles. The objective is to log as many miles at Sunset Mountain as you can in a 4 hour window. This event is slightly different than last year's event so please ask questions if you're unsure about the rules. You can use any trail combination you want as long as you are walking or running, the miles count. You can show up any time between the event start date and finish date but all miles logged have to be completed at Sunset Mountain and within a 4 hour time period from when you start tracking your miles until you finish. On October 17th between 10am and 2pm our Snap Dragon trail will be open and you are welcome to use that 4 hour window to track your miles. The Snap Dragon trail is only open once a year and features access to the highest elevation on our property with unmatched views of the campground and river valley below.

The trails at Sunset Mountain are very rugged and steep. The terrain is mostly loose gravel with massive elevation changes. This challenge is designed for the series athlete who wishes to get in on some naked miles.
