How much is registration?

The registration for the event is $30 per participant. However, children 8 and under are FREE. Cash payment is required, no card please.

Although I am registering online, how & when do I pay?

Since we are working through our school but it is a charity event, we cannot take payment online. Please plan to pay the registration fee ($30 ages 9 & up) the morning of the race when you check-in.

Where is check-in and registration on the day of the event?

Please arrive early to avoid lines. Find our table next to the concession stand at the end of the football field. (Where the race will begin.)

Are strollers and pets allowed?

Yes, but please be aware of your surroundings for safety reasons. However, the more the merrier!

I want to bring my children, is this OK?

Yes, this is a 5K & Fun Run...fun for the whole family! We plan to have activities after the race too.

What is the course structure?

The course will be clearly marked for both the fun run and and 5K.

What can I win?

The following awards: 5K - 1, 2, 3 Male and Female: Fun Run - 1, 2, 3 Overall: Best Costume - Kids & Adults: Best & most creative tent - for after race festivities.

Inclement weather?

This event will be rain or shine. However, if the weather is truly "inclement," we have a rain date of April 18th.

What will the money be used for?

A nominal amount will be used to cover costs (although the students are writing a grant and they are calling for sponsorships as well). A majority of the funds raised will got to Northeast GA CASA. Our goal is to raise at least $2500 for the organization.

What is CASA?

"The mission of Northeast Georgia Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) is to provide training, supervision, and resources for volunteers to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children within our communities."
