Get ready to put on your capes and become a superhero for a day at the 8th Annual Superheroes for Seniors 5K/1K Run/Walk Event! Taking place on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at the picturesque Lilburn City Park in Gwinnett, this exciting event aims to support struggling seniors and elderly veterans in our community. Participants can choose between a 5K or a fun 1K run/walk and are encouraged to showcase their superhero spirit in a costume contest.
Race day kicks off bright and early, with packet pick-up starting at 7:00 AM, followed by a Zumba warm-up at 7:50 AM. The 5K run/walk begins at 8:00 AM, followed by the 1K run/walk at 8:30 AM, and a special Veteran Mile honoring our elderly veterans at 9:00 AM. Finishers will receive medals, and there will be awards for the top male and female finishers in various age categories. Plus, participants will enjoy goody bags, free t-shirt giveaways, and a Zumba special after the race! Join us for a day of fun, fitness, and community spirit, all
