Main St in downtown Glasgow, Kentucky. Whether you're a seasoned runner or prefer to jog or walk, everyone is welcome to participate in this chip-timed race featuring age group awards. The scenic course will take you through picturesque neighborhoods and the beautiful South Green corridor, ensuring a delightful experience for all.
Don't miss the chance to support a great cause, as proceeds will benefit Sustainable Glasgow and help fund the Double Dollars program for the Bounty of the Barrens Farmer's Market. Before the race, join us for packet pickup and in-person registration on Friday evening at First Christian Church, or arrive early on race day for registration starting at 6:00 AM. Stick around after the race to enjoy fantastic shopping and delicious food at the Farmer's Market. Sustainable Glasgow is excited to host their fifth annual Homegrown 5k on Saturday, Apri 25th, 2026 at 7:30 am. New for this year, we will have a chip-timed race with age group awards, but joggers and walkers are welcome!
_LOCATION CHANGE! _The race will begin at the new Farmer's Market facility located just off W. Main St in downtown Glasgow, Kentucky and meander on an out and back course through beautiful neighborhoods and the South Green corridor before ending back at the Farmer's Market. Course closes at 8:30 am. Proceeds of the race will benefit Sustainable Glasgow and supplement the Double Dollars program for the Bounty of the Barrens Farmer's Market.
We will have a packet pickup and in-person registration on Friday evening before the race at First Christian Church, 1100 N. Race St from 5-7pm at the main entrance (back lot). Registration and packet pick-up on the day of the event will open at 6:00-7:00am on Yancey's patio. Please register early to make sure you get a shirt on race day.
This event will coincide with the return of the Bounty of the Barrens Farmers' Market. Stick around for great shopping and food!

Proceeds from this race will benefit Sustainable Glasgow and the Double Dollars program in partnership with the Bounty of the Barrens Farmers Market. The Double Dollars program is a matching grant that assist those using WIC FMNP, SFMNP, and SNAP benefits to purchase local, homegrown, healthy food options at the Bounty of the Barrens market, while allowing farmers to be fairly compensated.
