Lace up your running shoes and join us for The Swamp Stomp 5K, a scenic run through the Lowcountry's most charming coastal towns. This event, taking place on February 8, 2025, will raise vital funds to support The Complete Student, a school dedicated to providing an enriching, well-rounded education for students in our community.
The race will kick off at 8:00 AM, weaving through the picturesque streets of Port Royal, where runners will enjoy beautiful views of the lowcountry, local landmarks, and the peaceful marshes that make this area unique. Whether you're an avid runner or just looking to enjoy a brisk walk for a good cause, everyone is welcome to join in the fun! Awards will be given to the top participants in their age division, as well as 4 special categories. The Canine Companion award given to the first place runner with their pet, The Stroller Spirit award given to the fastest runner pushing a stroller with one or more little passengers, The Ageless Athlete award given to the oldest runner that crosses the finish line, and The Swamp Rabbit Spirit Award given to the runner that captures the Swamp Rabbit spirit of heart and grit. Awards will also be given out to the top finishers in each age division for both male and female athletes. The age divisions are as follows: 12 and under, ages 13-19, ages 20-29, ages 30-39, ages 40-49, ages 50-59, and ages 60 and up. There will also be an award for finishing the race (as supplies last!)
