Participants are encouraged to bring headlamps, flashlights, glow sticks, and festive nighttime running gear to light up the greenways! The 5K course features an out-and-back route along the scenic greenway, while the 1-mile course offers a delightful loop around the Victor Ashe Soccer Fields. Packet pickup starts at 4:30 PM, with the race kicking off at 5:30 PM. Don’t miss your chance to shine and make a difference in the community—register early for a chance to snag a commemorative shirt!

Join Wallace Memorial Church at Victor Ashe Park on Sunday, December 8, 2024 to help raise support for the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering which will be used to support global missions.
The 5k race and 1mile fun run/walk will be held at Victor Ashe Park by the light of the Moon. Head lamps, flashlights, glow sticks and night time running gear is encouraged. Let's light up the greenways!
Packet Pickup will begin Sunday, December 8th at 4:30pm at the Victor Ashe pavilion and the race will start at 5:30pm.
The courses start and finish at the Victor Ashe Pavilion. The 5k race course is an out and back on the greenway, running along the frisbee golf course, connecting to the cross walk to the Northwest Middle School Greenway, looping around the lower loop and coming back. Finish Line is in front of the pavilion. The 1 mile course goes almost completely around the Victor Ashe Soccer Fields and then turns around and comes back to the start finish line area in front of the pavilion.
Anyone registering after November 10, 2024 will receive shirts while supplies last. The shirt order will be placed on November 11 and when the shirts run out in the RunSignUp system, there will be no more shirts.

This timed race will start and finish at the pavilion at Victor Ashe Park and run on the paved greenways through the frisbee golf course to the lower loop of the Northwest Middle School greenway and back. Course is approximately 3.1miles and is non-certified. This race will have overall and age group awards. -
1 Mile Fun Run/Walk

This non-timed course will be a partial lap and back on the paved greenway around the soccer fields at Victor Ashe Park. This course is approximately 1 mile and is non certified. This fun run/walk will not be timed and will not have awards.
The Moon Run 5k
