This uplifting event kicks off at 10:00 AM and aims to raise awareness for the prevention of child abuse while supporting victims in our community. The race, organized by Miamisburg High School student government in partnership with the Dayton Alumni Chapter of Kappa Delta Sorority, promises a day of fun and purpose.
Participants can look forward to a scenic 5K route that not only promotes fitness but also champions a vital cause. With 80% of the proceeds benefiting the Care House of Dayton โ our local advocacy center for abuse victims, and 20% supporting Prevent Child Abuse America, your involvement will make a meaningful difference. IN 2014, MIAMISBURG HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT GOVERNMENT JOINED WITH A FORMER MIAMISBURG STUDENT TO START A MISSION TO RAISE AWARENESS FOR PREVENTION OF CHILD ABUSE AND REACH OUT TO VICTIMS OF CHILD ABUSE BY SHOWING THEM HOW TO PERSEVERE! AFTER A YEAR OFF, TAKING STRIDES FOR PREVENTION 5K IS COMING BACK TO MIAMISBURG ONLY WITH A NEW LOCATION - RIVERFRONT PARK IN DOWNTOWN MIAMISBURG. THE RACE WILL START AT 10:00AM.
