By participating in this unique run, you'll be supporting Tampa Electric's manatee conservation efforts and the manatee research program within the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. Don't miss this opportunity to help keep our beloved manatees well-fed and happy while enjoying a fun and rewarding race experience. Be sure to carpool due to limited parking and pick up your race bib and shirt on January 16th at the Manatee Viewing Center. Awards will be presented to top finishers in various age groups, so lace up your running shoes and get ready for a memorable day of running for a great cause!

Tampa Electric's 3rd Annual Run for the Manatees 5K will pass by the Manatee Viewing Center, the cornerstone of Tampa Electric's Florida Conservation & Technology Center (FCTC), and wind through the gorgeous trails on the FCTC campus. Best of all, the unique run will raise awareness and support for Tampa Electrics manatee conservation efforts by supporting the manatee research program within the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.

Virtual participants will not be part of the in-person event on Jan. 18, 2025. An event shirt and finisher medal will be mailed to US based addresses the week of Jan. 20, 2025. Virtual participants can choose the day, time, course, etc. to complete the 3.1 mile distance. Results are not calculated in results for chip timed participants; therefore you do not need to submit anything to us! We appreciate your support of our conservation efforts!
