Join us for a family-friendly 5K Walk/Run at Taproot Fields a community event at one of the area's most beautiful properties, tucked off Jordan Road.
This is a fun run focused on families being outdoors, overcoming a challenge together, and experiencing everything Taproot Fields has to offer. The course is self-timed and open to all ages and ability levels. Walk with the kids, jog with a friend, or run your own pace however you move, you're doing it right.
We believe Taproot is one of the area's best-kept secrets. The trails, the scenery, the wide-open space it's a local gem, and this event is your invitation to come see it for yourself.

The course winds through Taproot Fields on a mix of grass and groomed trails. It's flat, scenic, and manageable for all fitness levels. Strollers are welcome on most of the route just be prepared for a few soft spots depending on conditions. Please leave pets at home for this event. Explore Taproot Fields Stick around after you cross the finish line. We're hosting a post-race Farm Experience featuring local vendors, farm tours, and a taste of what Taproot has to offer from educational classes to future programming. Grab some food, check out the property, and make a morning of it with your family.
