Join the excitement at the Tawas Bay Summerfest 5k/10k on Saturday, July 11, 2026, in beautiful East Tawas, Iosco! This vibrant event is hosted by Tawas Wellness in collaboration with the Tawas Area Chamber of Commerce, with all proceeds supporting local community programs and the firework fund. Runners and walkers of all ages can participate in the 5k (3.1 miles) or challenge themselves with the 10k (6.2 miles) run. The race kicks off at The Collective, starting with the 10k at 8:30 AM followed by the 5k at 9:00 AM.
Don’t miss the medal ceremony at 10:15 AM, where awards will be presented to top finishers in various age categories. Registration fees are $30 for the 5k and $35 for the 10k, with discounts available for children aged 10 and under. WHO: Tawas Wellness is a local nonprofit offering affordable wellness opportunities for Iosco County! We are excited to work with the Tawas Area Chamber of Commerce and host the 2026 Tawas Summerfest 5k/10k! All proceeds will be divided between the Tawas Wellness's community programming and the Tawas Area Chamber of Commerce's firework fund.
WHAT: 5k (3.1 mile) Run or Walk, participants register in the appropriate division; 10k (6.2 mile) _Run only_.
