Join us for the 12th Annual Thanksgiving Day Trot n' Gobble on Thursday, November 26th, 2026, in beautiful Peru, Miami! This festive event is the perfect way to kick off your Thanksgiving celebrations with family and friends while staying active. Participants can choose between a 5K or a 10K race, with a walk option available for the 5K. The scenic Nickel Plate Trail will serve as our backdrop, providing a picturesque route for all runners.
Registration opens at 6:45 AM at Anytime Fitness, located at 907 W Main Street, Peru, IN, with races starting at 8 AM. Be sure to register by November 22nd to guarantee your long-sleeved shirt and join the first 200 participants to receive a special participation medal. If you can't make it to pre-registration, race day registration will be available, but shirts will not be guaranteed. Enjoy early packet pickup the evening before at the Peru Circus Building from 6 PM to 8 PM. Proceeds from this event will benefit the dedicated kids at the Peru Circus City Festival. Lace up your running shoes and be part of this exciting community event!

Come join us for the 12th Annual Thanksgiving Day Trot n' Gobble! This year's run falls on November 27th, 2025! We offer a 5K & 10K race, with a walk option for the 5K. The race is located on the Nickel Plate Trail! The proceeds benefit our hard working kids at the Peru Circus City Festival.
All pre-registered runners will receive a long sleeved shirt, with the first 200 receiving a participation medal. To qualify for pre-registration, we will need to receive your registration form by November 22nd. Race day registration will be available, but shirts are not guaranteed. Registration is at Anytime Fitness (907 W Main Street Peru, IN) beginning at 6:45 AM Thanksgiving Day, with races to follow at 8 AM!
