Join us for the 23rd Annual Ed McGuire Memorial Cannonball Run on Saturday 2nd November 2024 in Falls Village, Northwest Hills. This exciting event, co-sponsored by the Falls Village Volunteer Fire Department and Shelly's Hair Salon, features a 5K (3.1 miles) race that promises a great course, soon to be USATF certified. The race kicks off with the traditional firing of the cannon, adding an extra thrill to the event! Walkers and individuals with disabilities are encouraged to participate in the 2.5-mile course, starting at 11:30am. Restrooms and parking are conveniently located downtown. Don't miss the awards ceremony on the town green following the race, honoring all age groups. Register before October 10th for $25 and receive a souvenir shirt. All proceeds go to benefit the Falls Village Volunteer Fire Department, making this a fun and meaningful community event.
Organiser's Description
A 5K (3.1 Miles) Co-Sponsored by the Falls Village Volunteer Fire Department and Shelly's Hair Salon featuring a great course, that is in the process of being USATF certified. The traditional firing of the cannon will start the race! Walkers and individuals with disabilities are most welcome (2.5 Mile Course)! Walkers start at 11:30am. Restrooms and parking are available in the downtown area. Upon Completion of the race, an awards ceremony will be held on the town green for all age groups. The entry fee is $25. If pre-registered by October 10th your registration includes a souvenir shirt. All proceeds benefit the Falls Village Volunteer Fire Department!
