As the sun sets, Lake Walk will be aglow with holiday lights, live music, food trucks serving up delicious treats, and plenty of festive games and selfie stations to capture the memories. All finishers will receive a medal, while 5K and 10K participants will also take home an official race t-shirt and exciting sponsor swag. With awards for the top three overall male and female finishers in both the 5K and 10K divisions, there's a little friendly competition to spice things up! So don your most festive attire, grab a headlamp for the 10K, and join in the merriment at the Tinsel Trot—let's make this year's event brighter than ever

As the sun sets, the Lake Walk Pavilion will transform into a glowing holiday party complete with:

Each participant will receive a finisher medal. There will be awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place overall male and female. Some participants will finish the race in the dark. We will have glow sticks for participants to wear as well as glow sticks on the race course. -
10K Run
Incl. $4.00 Fee & T-Shirt
Sat 20th December 2025 (5:00PM CST)

Each participant will receive a finisher medal. There will be awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place overall male and female. All 10k participants must have a headlamp or some sort of light with them at the start of the race as it will be dark when they finish. We will also have glow sticks for participants to wear as well as glow sticks on the race course. It will be dark at the finish, however the course is well lit for a majority of it by the street lights. -
1 Mile Fun Run
Incl. $1.90 Fee

There will be no t-shirt provided however finisher medals will be given to all fun run finishers. Glow sticks will be available for participants to wear on course, however the fun run will be finished before it gets dark.

Very fun race! Got a shirt and a medal. They had food and drinks there too which is nice. And lots of pretty lights and decorations for Christmas.
