Get ready to lace up, light up, and trot into the holidays with us at the Active Texan Tinsel Trota festive evening 5K, 10K, and 1-mile family fun run at beautiful Lake Walk in Bryan-College Station!
Bring your friends, your family, your running club, or your coworkersthis is more than just a race; its a community celebration to close out the year Active Texan-style.
As the sun sets, the Lake Walk Pavilion will transform into a glowing holiday party complete with:
Holiday tunes
Food trucks & hot chocolate
Festive games & selfie stations

Time: 4:30 PM start for one mile
Time: 5pm start for 10k and 5:05pm start for 5k
Location: Lake Walk Pavilion, Bryan, TX
Events: 10K 5K 1-Mile Kids/Family Fun Run
Timing: Professionally chip-timed races for the 5K and 10K
All participants will receive a finisher medal, and 5K/10K runners will also receive an official race t-shirt and sponsor swag.
Awards for Top 3 Overall Male & Female Finishers in both 5K and 10K divisions.
A Few Tips
Headlamps are recommended for 10K runners, as portions of the course will be after dark.
The route is well-lit by streetlights, and well keep things merry and bright with glow sticks and bracelets for all participants.
COSTUMES AND HOLIDAY SPIRIT ARE HIGHLY ENCOURAGED!

CLOSEDEach participant will receive a finisher medal. There will be awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place overall male and female. Some participants will finish the race in the dark. We will have glow sticks for participants to wear as well as glow sticks on the race course. -
10K Run

CLOSEDEach participant will receive a finisher medal. There will be awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place overall male and female. All 10k participants must have a headlamp or some sort of light with them at the start of the race as it will be dark when they finish. We will also have glow sticks for participants to wear as well as glow sticks on the race course. It will be dark at the finish, however the course is well lit for a majority of it by the street lights. -
1 Mile Fun Run

CLOSEDThere will be NO t-shirt provided however finisher medals will be given to all fun run finishers. Glow sticks will be available for participants to wear on course, however the fun run will be finished before it gets dark.

Very fun race! Got a shirt and a medal. They had food and drinks there too which is nice. And lots of pretty lights and decorations for Christmas.
