Organiser's Description
With the success of year two of The Active Texan Triathlon in September, we are thrilled to announce the upcoming Active Texan Tinsel Trot, a festive holiday 5K, 10K race and 1 mile kids/family fun run at Lake Walk this December. Partial proceeds will be going to Toys for Tots this year. The event will be a fantastic opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate the holiday season. We hope you will come join us in creating a new tradition with your family and friends. We will finish the race as the sun sets on the green by the pavilion at Lake Walk to enjoy a great festive after party under the Christmas lights!

There will be awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place overall male and female. Some participants will finish the race in the dark. We will have glow sticks for participants to wear as well as glow sticks on the race course. -
10K Run

There will be awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place overall male and female. All 10k participants must have a headlamp or some sort of light with them at the start of the race as it will be dark when they finish. We will also have glow sticks for participants to wear as well as glow sticks on the race course. It will be dark at the finish, however the course is well lit for a majority of it by the street lights. -
1 Mile Fun Run
Incl. $1.90 Fee

There will be no t-shirt provided however finisher medals will be given to all fun run finishers. Glow sticks will be available for participants to wear on course, however the fun run will be finished before it gets dark.
