Organiser's Description
Before the parade rolls through the heart of Auburn, the streets open to runners and walkers of all ages for a festive, community-centered running and walking experience.
The Auburn Mile, presented by Auburn Running Company, begins in downtown Auburn and follows the full parade route, finishing back at the Downtown Square. Its a true one-mile race, whether youre chasing a personal best or simply showing up to celebrate the Fourth with movement.
This event is unique in that parade spectators will be supporting and encouraging you the whole way! And, you'll be kicking off the parade with your feet!
And if you like to dress for the Fourth of July, this is your moment!
