This exciting event celebrates Global Running Day and invites all runners and walkers to come together for a day of fitness and community spirit. Participants can choose to join the in-person 5K race at SRP Park at 6 PM or opt for a virtual 5K from their own location, making it easy for everyone to take part in the fun.
Not only will you be crossing the finish line with fellow enthusiasts, but you’ll also be supporting a great cause! This year, proceeds will benefit the RECing Crew, a remarkable organization providing leisure and recreational opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Plus, every participant in the 5K and the 1-Mile Kids Run will receive an awesome finisher medal, a fun bib number, a race t-shirt, and a General Admission ticket to the Augusta GreenJackets game that evening, complete with a complimentary beverage. Join us for a day of running, camaraderie, and giving back!

GLOBAL RUNNING DAY IS OUR HOLIDAY; A CELEBRATION OF THE ACTIVITY WE LOVE AND THE SPORT THAT BRINGS OUR COMMUNITY TOGETHER. WERE INVITING ALL RUNNERS AND WALKERS TO JOIN US ON JUNE 3 TO MARK THE OCCASION, SET A GOAL AND CROSS THE FINISH LINE.
This years event will include an in-person race and virtual features that provide all participants with flexible raceday options. This means you have two ways to celebrate with us:
* Join us for an in-person 5K race on June 3rd at 6pm at SRP Park
* Run your own 5K course from any location
Either way, youll have the ability to upload and view your results after your run!

ALL DONATED PROCEEDS BENEFIT: THE RECING CREW
The RECing Crew Special Leisure and Recreation Association was established in 2002 by the families and friends of those with disabilities to offer leisure and recreational opportunities for individuals with disabilities from the CSRA. These programs enhance the physical, emotional, and social growth of those that participate. Currently, there are 200+ individuals, ranging in the ages from 6-88, that participate in one or more of their programs.

On June 3, Fleet Feet Augusta & North Augusta, in partnership with Brooks, will hold a certified 5K race. All participants will receive, a finishers medal, t-shirt, 1 free ticket to the GreenJackets baseball game (ticket is general admission), and of course a little more! The 5K will be chipped time. Dogs, Strollers, Wheelchairs, and Pets are Welcome. On-line registration will close at 11:59PM on June 1st. Packet Pick-Up: * Tuesday, June 2, 2026 @ Fleet Feet Augusta (229 Furys Ferry Rd. Augusta, GA 30907) from 11:00AM - 6:00PM. Participants CAN register at packet pickup. * Wednesday, June 3, 2026 @ SRP Park from 4:00PM - 5:00PM. This is for packet pickup only, there will be NO race day registration. -
1 Mile Kids Fun Run

Bring your kids out for a Fun Family Event. Kids age 3 -13 will run an out-and-back route on the race course to complete a 1-Mile Fun Run. Each Participant will receive a shirt, medal, and of course a little surprise! The 1 mile will be timed. The Kids run will start at 6:10pm just after the 5K. Parents may run with their child without registering, but they will not receive the race shirt, medal, and GreenJackets game ticket. On-line registration will close at 11:59PM on June 1st. Packet Pick-Up: * Tuesday, June 2, 2026 @ Fleet Feet Augusta (229 Furys Ferry Rd. Augusta, GA 30907) from 11:00AM - 6:00PM. Are you unable to run the BIG RUN 5K in-person this year? No worries, we have you covered. Complete the distance between 6/1 - 6/5. You can submit your results on Runsignup or by e-mailing training@fleetfeetaugusta.com. All virtual participants will receive a medal, visor, and virtual bib that can be picked up at Packet Pickup on Tuesday, June 2nd from 11am-6pm at Fleet Feet Augusta (229 Furys Ferry Rd. Augusta, GA 30907), or have it shipped to them by emailing training@fleetfeetaugusta.com
