This year, we're thrilled to introduce an Open/Alumni Mile for anyone in 7th grade and up, inviting former students to join the fun and relive their glory days. With the stakes high as Mc6 runners aim to shatter the school record, the excitement is palpable! The race day schedule kicks off at 8:00 AM with the 6th Grade Boys, followed closely by 6th Grade Girls, and continues throughout the morning. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking to enjoy a friendly walk, the Blue Jay Mile promises a vibrant atmosphere and unforgettable memories for the entire family. BLUE JAY MILE
One Mile Race on the track for 6th graders and all other elementary age groups. We are adding an Open/Alumni Race for 7th graders and up. This is a race, run or walk for the whole family and also for any kids wanting to see how fast they can run a mile! Mc6 runners are competing to break the school record.
COMPETITIVE MILE BOYS AND GIRLS RACES

* 3rd-5th graders
* A mini mile for K-2nd (1-2 laps)
* Open/Alumni Mile for 7th grade and up

This Race/Run/Walk helps support McLean 6th grade by supporting getting and keeping kids active. Family, friends, teachers, and dogs are all welcome to enjoy some laps on the track after watching the kids race. Open Race is also for Mc6 Alumni or runners to see how fast they can run a mile! -
Blue Jay Mile Fun Run/Walk

The Fun Run/Walk is a lap, 2, 3 or 4. It is free and untimed. It does not include a shirt. If you would like to run or walk for fun, but want a shirt, please register for the Open Race/Run/Walk.
