Organiser's Description
Take part in Grace Episcopals Christmas Carol Classic with a 5K JINGLE BELL RUN and 1-MILE HOLIDAY STROLL in historic downtown Cullman, and make this cheeriest of races an annual holiday tradition! The event coincides with Cullmans Christkindlmarket and the race route will take in some of the festivals sites and sounds as it journeys past Festhalle Marketplatz, through Cullmans scenic warehouse shopping district, and the beautiful neighborhoods and townscapes surrounding the Church.
Jingle bells will accompany race bibs. Holiday attire is encouraged. Well-behaved leashed pets are welcome. (Be sure to bring your furry family members back for our annual community-wide Blessing of the Animals in celebration of the Feast of St. Francis the first week in October.)
Water and Christmas carols will be supplied along the race route. Post-race goodies include coffee, hot chocolate, Christmas cookies and standard race recovery fare.
Overall and age group awards will be given following the fun run finish at approximately 9:30 am.
