Get ready to lace up your running shoes and satisfy your sweet tooth at the 7th Annual Cupcake Classic 3K, organized by VIPS (VISUALLY IMPAIRED PRESCHOOL SERVICES). The event has been rescheduled to take place on Friday, August 23rd at 7:30pm at Wellington Park in South Lexington, Fayette. Participants can look forward to a paved course, delicious BabyCakes cupcakes and ice cream, commemorative race t-shirts, and plenty of fun with a DJ and social teams. There will be a 3K run/walk, Kids' Dash, and Virtual Runner/Walker option available. COME RUN FOR VISUALLY IMPAIRED CHILDREN AND EARN A RACE SHIRT AND DELICIOUS BABYCAKES CUPCAKE!
The 7TH ANNUAL CUPCAKE CLASSIC 3K will be held on Friday, August 16th, at 7:30pm at Wellington Park in South Lexington. Our race will support the good work of VIPS (VISUALLY IMPAIRED PRESCHOOL SERVICES).

PACKET PICKUP: Our packet pickup will be held on race night (Friday, August 16th) from 6:00-7:30pm at the Wellington Park pavilion. There will be no advanced day packet pickup for the race.
WEATHER PLAN: Our race is a rain or shine event. We know that there is a forecast for rain and possible severe weather through parts of Friday. We will be watching this closely. Our plan is to move forward with our 7:30pm start and delay the race in the event of severe (thunder/lightning) weather. If it is just raining, then we will conduct the race. If we are going to make a significant change (cancel/postpone) due to expected severe weather, then you will receive an email by 4:30pm on Friday with those details and our plans.
