This spirited event features a 5K race and a 1-mile course, both offering participants a chance to enjoy the scenic trails at Bible Park. The 5K is an exhilarating out-and-back route, winding through paved paths where you'll be met with cheers, cowbells, and a vibrant atmosphere. If you're looking for something shorter, the flat and fast 1-mile course is perfect for walkers and sprinters alike!
Registration for both the 5K and 1-mile races is absolutely free, and there’s even a Kiddie Kruze for the little ones! Don’t forget to capture your journey at the designated selfie stations along the way! The day kicks off with race day check-in at 8:00 AM, followed by a warmup session and family picture before the races start at 9:00 AM. Whether you’re racing for personal bests or simply enjoying a day outdoors, The Fall Frenzy promises a fun-filled experience for everyone, all while supporting a great cause. KIDDIE KRUZE REGISTRATION: FREE
_*** Our group runs are free for this event but we welcome donations. These can be monetary or in the form of clothes or food or anything you feel inclined to give! Donations in part will go to Harvest Therapeutics and given to those in need. _
COURSE & TIMING DETAILS
START & FINISH LINE
* The START and FINISH Area is West of the main parking lot, under the trees and just past the playground. There will be a sign in the main parking lot pointing you to us. There will also be a Purple 10x10 tent set up.. you can't miss us!
5K COURSE
* The 5k Course will be an out and back around the paved trail at Bible Park. We are giving you a little extra though to get the full 3.1 miles. As you head back to the Start/Finish area you will hear hoots and hollers and cowbells and cheers but thats not the end! Pass through the finish and get yourself just one more short, about a quarter mile, loop up to the trail and to the left and then back down to the real FINISH! Dont forget to smile, youll be on camera!
1 MILE COURSE
* The 1 mile course is an out and back and is FLAT & FAST. Go for a nice easy walk or test your sprinting and go all out! Challenge yourself while we support you!
_**** DON'T FORGET TO BRING YOUR PHONES WITH YOU AND MAKE SURE TO STOP AT ONE OF THE 2 SELFIE STATIONS ALONG THE WAY!_
TIMING:
* We will have a GUN TIMED start. What this means is everyones time starts when we say GO! We will have 2 timers at the finish logging your bib numbers and time from the FINISH LINE CLOCK. If you have that Apple watch, Garmin or Strava or anything you use personally dont forget to start that as the gun goes off.
AID STATIONS
1 MILE COURSE:
* There will be NO aid Stations but we will have bottled water for you at the start, or feel free to bring your own hydration
5K COURSE:
* There will be 2 aid stations on the 5k course, one at the .75 Mile Marker that you will hit this twice, once on the way out and once on the way back. the 2nd will be at the turnaround just about 1.3 miles out. There will be water and an electrolyte in small cups at both!
