This unique event, benefiting Angels Among Us Pet Rescue, invites both runners and walkers to participate alongside their furry friends in a 5K race or a leisurely 5K walk. This family-friendly event celebrates our beloved pets while raising funds to support homeless dogs and cats in Georgia.
The race kicks off at 9 AM sharp, featuring a scenic route with multiple aid and water stations for both participants and their canine companions. Each registered participant will receive a custom race t-shirt and enjoy delicious post-race snacks. With awards for the top finishers in various age categories and special prizes for all canine finishers, this is an event you won't want to miss! Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or a casual walker, come make a difference in the lives of animals in need while enjoying a fun-filled day at The Fast and the Furriest 5K!

THE FAST AND THE FURRIEST 5K, BENEFITTING ANGELS AMONG US PET RESCUE, WILL BE HELD AT WEBB BRIDGE PARK IN ALPHARETTA, GA. THE FAST AND THE FURRIEST 5K IS PROUDLY SPONSORED BY VETERINARY SPECIALISTS OF GREATER ATLANTA(VSGA), FRY|GOEHRING PERSONAL INJURY ATTORNEYS, IDH ALLIANCE, PAW PATCH ANIMAL CLINIC, LEZLIES PET SITTING, ATLANTIC RESIDENTIAL, HOMESTEAD ANIMAL HOSPITAL
All pre- and post-race activities will take place on the green space in-between the baseball fields. Park by the Playground for the closest parking.
The Fast and the Furriest is for runners, walkers, and their dogs! We are excited to offer a 5K race AND a 5K walk for athletes, beginners and kids alike, while raising money to save lives!
This course will have an aid & water station along the route(which you will pass 3 times!) for participants and their dogs (children and strollers are welcome).
Included for each competitor is a custom race t-shirt and post-race snacks. The Fast and the Furriest is perfect for runners and walkers who want to make a difference in the lives of homeless dogs and cats in Georgia. Come celebrate with us at this dog-centric race!_ _
WE WILL ALLOW RACE-DAY REGISTRATION STARTING AT 7:30AM FOR A COST OF $45 VIA QR CODE. CREDIT CARD OR DEBIT CARD ONLY. NO CASH OR CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED. (WE CANNOT GUARANTEE A SHIRT IN YOUR SIZE WILL BE AVAILABLE, PLEASE CHECK WITH US AFTER YOU FINISH THE RACE) 5K RACE START TIME IS 9AM SHARP.
