PACKET PICKUP WILL BEGIN THE DAY OF THE RACE AT 7 AM
Join generations of Winesburgers in running the Great Grape Race, one of the many fun events of the 28th Winesburg Reunion weekend! This event begins at Winesburg Park and is perfect for all ages, featuring a scenic route through the picturesque farmland. Whether youre a dedicated runner, a casual jogger, or just looking to enjoy a family-friendly event, this race is designed for everyone.
Granola bars, bananas and water will be available for runners at the finish line. The event concludes at Winesburg Park, where the Fall Festival will be taking place. After the race, there will be food trucks, baseball games, and various festival and reunion activities throughout the rest of the day.
Medals will be awarded to the top 3 male and female finishers. All participants will receive a voucher for an ice cream cone from Whitmer's General Store.
Parking will be in the field behind the playground at Winesburg park. Participants will need to drive past the park entrance on TR 671. They will enter the drive at 7771 TR 671 and park in the field past the house. There will be signs indicating where to park the day of the race.
NOTE: Shirt deadline is 2 weeks prior to event. Anyone registering after this date will not be guaranteed a t-shirt. We will do our best to estimate quantity and sizing needs but can not guarantee correct sizes to anyone registering after this date.
