OVER THIRTY YEARS AGO, HARVEY PENDERGRAST STARTED THE 5K RUN IN BURNSVILLE. HE HAS BEEN INVOLVED IN IT ALMOST EVERY YEAR SINCE. IN HONOR OF HIM, THE BURNSVILLE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE HAS NAMED THE RACE "THE HARVEY RUN". THE RACE BEGINS AT 8AM AT THE BURNSVILLE CITY HALL BUILDING.
AFTER THE RACE, THE WATERWAY FESTIVAL WILL BEGIN AT 10 AM BEHIND CITY HALL.
