Get ready to step back in time at the 14th Annual Theresa Borgia Memorial 5K Run/Walk for Cancer Wellness, happening on Sunday, May 24th, 2026, in Scranton, Lackawanna! This year’s event features an exciting “I Love the 80s” theme, encouraging participants to don their best 80s attire for a chance to win the costume contest. Join us for a lively morning filled with music by EJ the DJ, a fun Rubik's Cube challenge, and a spectacular raffle, all while supporting a great cause.
The Children’s Fun Run for ages 12 and under kicks off at 9:00 AM, followed by the main 5K Run/Walk at 9:30 AM on the scenic Lackawanna Heritage Trail, starting at the Olive Street entrance. Registration is just $30, with all proceeds benefiting the JCC Chronic Disease & Cancer Wellness Center. The first 100 registrants will receive a special T-shirt, so be sure to sign up early! Online registration ends on May 20th at 6:00 PM. Join us for a fantastic day of fitness, fun, and community spirit while making a difference in the fight against cancer
