The Eagle Rock Shredders will be hosting the 7th race of the 2025 Tour de Dirt (TdD) race series. This race will be held at Elk City Lake on Sunday, October 12th. The name of the race is The Jelly Roll.
Racers will be racing on the Eagle Rock MTB Trails located at the Elk City State Park. The course is approximately 7-miles in length. The terrain varies from flat and grassy to steep and rocky. Racers are divided by skill and stamina. Depending on category, racers will be racing 7, 14 or 21 miles.
This race is part of our "2-Days of Bike Awesomeness". Day 1, Saturday, Oct 11th kicks off with our 2nd annual "Old School BMX Bike Show & Swap", followed up with our famous "Slow Roll" group ride, then finishing the night out with the live band "Good Time Charlie". All of which is free to the public and is held at the Riverside Park & Ralph Mitchell Zoo in Independence, KS.
The Eagle Rock Shredders (ERS) is a small non-profit group that builds and maintains biking and hiking trails. Some of these volunteers can also be found racing competitively across Oklahoma and Arkansas. If you have an interest in becoming an ERS volunteer or want to learn how you can help, come meet them at either event.
