Organiser's Description
The John Martins Foundation and the RI Burn Foundation have come together to raise funds for burn survivors! We are raising money for advanced laser equipment to be purchased for the burn unit at Rhode Island Hospital! This equipment costs over $250,000 and its use is to help those who suffered severe burn damage, get the reconstructive surgery they need to help reduce the amount of scar tissue from their injuries. All funds raised will go towards funding this equipment!
REGISTRATION OPENS AT 8:30AM AND 5K RACE WILL START AT 10:00AM AND 1K RACE WILL START 5 MINUTES AFTER.
All participants registered by May 5th will receive a free RaceDay t-shirt!
Earn a finishers medal upon completion of the 5k
Please Note: The 5k/1k Race will be happening rain or shine. Because of the logistics of planning for this race, we cannot offer refunds for any reason. In the event that weather is severe enough to create an unsafe environment for participants, organizers will cancel the event with no refunds issued.

OPENS 01 JAN 26If you can't make the 5k race in person, join us virtually! Show your support by completing your own 5k wherever and whenever you can. Upload your time with us online by May 31st. All virtual 5k times uploaded are not eligible for any race winnings. Participants will still receive a race t-shirt and finishers medal upon completion of the race available for pickup or can be shipped for an additional fee.
