THE PENGUIN WADDLE/WALK/RUN - $45 _Includes digital bib and basic finisher certificate_

Emperor Penguins have to travel at least 30 miles (50 km) and up to 95 miles (150 km) across the desolate Antarctic landscape. As a species reliant on sea ice for their survival we are encouraging participants to ride their bikes, walk, waddle, or run to lower carbon emissions. We dont expect you to travel as far as Emperor Penguins do, only that you have fun while honoring these epic birds. On this virtual adventure you'll encounter 9 symbolic stops in Antarctica including several Emperor Penguin colonies and McMurdo Research Station! If you are running/walking/ waddling the total distance for the race is the equivalent of a half-marathon so 13.1 miles (21 km) total. The pedal distance is 41 miles (65 km).
