The Reindeer Race is more than just a race; it's an opportunity to support local youth through scholarships for the Get Fit Families Summer Triathlon and Running Camps. Four scholarships worth $250 each will be awarded to the top boys and girls in both the 12 and under and 13 to 18 age groups, totaling an impressive $2,000 in support for our future stars. Organiser's Description
The 5K will start at 9:30 AM and 4 youth scholarships will be awarded for the Get Fit Families Summer Triathlon and Running Camps to the top boys and girls in the 12 and under and 13 to 18 age groups. Each scholarship is $250.
The 1 Mile will start at 10:30 AM and 4 youth scholarships will be awarded for the Get Fit Families Summer Triathlon and Running Camps to the top boys and girls in the 12 and under and 13 to 18 age groups. Each scholarship is $250.
That's $2,000 in GFF Camp scholarships.
We will also hold a 1/2 mile fun run for our younger athletes and those who want to get one more race in. That will start around 10:45 or 11:00 AM when the 1 mile is over.
Please bring some extra money with you and win some Christmas gifts. We have a great basket auction that everyone can participate in. The money raised through this event supports our Get Fit Families Summer Camps and scholarships for those in need.
