Join the San Ramon Valley Education Foundation’s 41st Run for Education on Sunday, October 13, 2024. Walk, run, roll, or stroll. Come for The Run and stay for the fun: kids’ zone, inflatable games, face painter, live entertainment, food, frozen treats, and more to celebrate Excellence in Education in the San Ramon Valley USD!
The Run for Education is a tradition in the San Ramon Valley spanning 41 years and is the primary fundraising activity for SRVEF. This community event includes participants, volunteers and spectators from all 35 San Ramon Valley Unified School District (SRVUSD) schools, representing the communities of Alamo, Danville and San Ramon. The Run for Education is the largest run that supports education in Northern California.
We have four events:
Mini Run – for our youngest athletes ages 2 - 6 (.30 mi course approx.)
Friendship Run – for our athletes with special needs. Walk, run or roll (.30 mi course approx.)
5K – start and finish in San Ramon
10K - start in Danville and finish in San Ramon
Virtual Runner - Run when and where you want, while supporting our San Ramon schools.
The San Ramon Valley Education Foundation works in collaboration with the San Ramon Valley Unified School District to fund priority initiatives within our schools, such as district level grants, STEAM programs, professional learning, and individual teacher grants.
