The Trudge 5K commemorates the 3 miles The Healing Place of New Hanover County clients walk every day in their recovery journey.
Join us February 1, 2025 to celebrate The Healing Place's one year anniversary by walking or running a 5K.
After your 5K, stay for the big TWO YEAR celebration which includes free food (brunch), live music, community vendors, and more. Brunch includes fruit, yogurt, and breakfast sandwiches.

HOW YOUR REGISTRATION MAKES A DIFFERENCE
The Healing Place of New Hanover County truly is where hope is found.
We provide food, shelter, clothing, and recovery services at no cost to the client. All a person has to have is a desire to get sober. We opened February 1, 2023 and have helped nearly 1,000 people withdraw from drugs and alcohol and have admitted nearly 800 people into our long-term residential recovery program. Every dollar raised by THPNC impacts a person either struggling with homelessness or active addiction.
