Kick off the festivities with the 1 Mile Fun Run starting at 7:30 AM, followed by the 5K race at 8 AM, both culminating at the fairgrounds entrance. Runners will enjoy a scenic route through Thibodaux's historic Downtown District, culminating in a thrilling finish where all participants will receive commemorative medals and refreshing refreshments. Don’t miss your chance to grab a $10 food and drink voucher for adult pre-registrations! Thanks to this year's race sponsor, THIBODAUX REGIONAL HEALTH SYSTEM for sponsoring registrations for all youth (ages 5-17) to sign up and run for free!
Also, all ADULT PRE-REGISTRATIONS (age 18+) will receive a $10 FOOD/DRINK VOUCHER for the 2024 Firemen's Fair.
REGISTRATION: We encourage everyone to please register online. On-site registration will also be open during packet pickup Friday, May 3rd from 5:00 - 8:00pm and race morning 6:00AM - 7:00am.
RACE DETAILS: The 1 MILE FUN RUN (7:30AM START) begins at the corner of Tiger Dr. and Parish Rd. The 5K (8AM START) start will be at the fairgrounds entrance. The route will bring participants through Thibodauxs historic Downtown District before leading them to the finish line at the fairgrounds entrance, where commemorative Firemens Race Medals and refreshments will be waiting for everyone who crosses the finish line.
PACKET PICKUP: Will take place at the fairgrounds FRIDAY, MAY 3RD 5PM-8PM next to the Bowie stand near stage right and RACE MORNING 6:00AM - 7:30AM.
