The Thirteen Moon Challenge is hosted by the WNY Full Moon Run Group. All information and details can be obtained by becoming a member of the Facebook group of the same name. Participants complete 13 consecutive full moon runs* in a calendar year to complete the challenge. It is recommended that you join the Facebook group at the link provided here first, acquaint yourself with the challenge, the group and the resources available, ask questions and once comfortable with the rules, only then sign up for this event.

_* A full moon run is defined as a run or walk which occurs between moon rise and moon set on a night when the moon is 96% full or greater. This typically allows for both evening and morning completions (depending on the moon rise and set times) across a 3-4 day period each lunation. The full calendar for 2024 is published on the WNY Full Moon Run Group page. To assist participants there are hosted events that can be attended with fellow run group members to complete the challenge._
