Participants can look forward to a fun-filled day that kicks off with packet pickup at Running for Kicks on November 25th, followed by an 8:00 AM packet pickup on race day. The festivities include a 1-Mile Kids Run for children in 8th grade and younger, a 1-Mile community walk, and a competitive Community 5K starting at 9:30 AM.
This year, the event also features a High School Team competition, where teams of three can earn points and showcase their athletic talents. All proceeds benefit the Winged Foot Foundation, which supports student athletes in the Chicago area by providing essential resources for their educational and athletic endeavors. Every finisher will receive a medal, with awards given to the top three finishers in various age categories. 8:00 AM Packet Pickup Begins
