Organiser's Description
Kent ISD is proud to provide the THRIVE 5K to Kent County and the West Michigan community on Saturday, June 1st. THRIVE! is Kent ISD's third annual 5K and is the culmination of a continuing tribute to educators which spotlights the need to support activities that recognize and promote educator wellness. Research shows that 1 in 4 educators are struggling with mental health. This campaign recognizes the significant impact that COVID and other events have had on our educators and supports prioritizing wellness and self-care so that they can continue to meet the social-emotional, academic, and physical needs of their students.
Kent ISD and our sponsors are proud to host this event and we look forward to seeing our community, educators, families, and school supporters run/walk with strength, power, and a clear mind on June 1st. We will see you on race day!
