Get ready for a fantastic day of fun and fitness at the Thunderbird Hockey Fun Run on Saturday, September 19, 2026, in beautiful Baraboo, Sauk! Kicking off at the Thunderbird Youth Hockey rink at Pierce Park, this exciting event features a 1/4 mile fun run for kids aged 12 and under at 9 AM, followed by a 5K race starting at 9:30 AM. It’s a wonderful opportunity for families to come together and promote an active lifestyle while supporting a great cause—proceeds from the event will benefit Thunderbird Youth Hockey.
Participants can look forward to a delicious pancake breakfast after the races, complete with a special discount for those who run or walk. Plus, all kids 18 and under will receive a free pass to Knuckleheads in Wisconsin Dells! Don’t forget to register early to secure your event t-shirt by August 31, 2026. Medals will be awarded to the top finishers in each age category for the 5K, and trophies will be given to the winners of the kids' race. Join us for a day filled with excitement, community spirit, and healthy competition!

Organiser's Description
This race will begin and end at the Thunderbird Youth Hockey rink at Pierce Park, 1100 Walnut St, Baraboo, WI 53913. A 1/4 mile fun run for kids 12 and under will be held at 9am, and a 5K will begin at 9:30am. Pancake breakfast will follow with a discount for run/walk participants!
All kids 18 & under will receive a free pass to Knuckleheads in Wisconsin Dells!
Tshirts are included if ordered before August 31, 2026.
1st place male and female in the1/4 mile kids race will receive a trophy.
1st and 2nd place male and female in each age category for the 5K will receive a medal.
