Get ready for an exhilarating day of endurance and fun at the Tomahawk Trail Endurance Challenge on Saturday, October 26, 2024, in the beautiful surroundings of Oneonta, Blount. This unique event invites participants to tackle a challenging cross-country course featuring grass and hills, where you'll have two hours to complete as many loops as possible. With a $20 donation at packet pickup, you’ll receive your bib and join in the friendly competition, all while supporting Oneonta High School Cross Country.
The day kicks off with bib pickup starting at 6:00 AM, leading up to the race beginning promptly at 7:30 AM in the OES field. Awards will be presented to the top male and female runners who complete the most loops, with special medals for those who conquer 9 loops within the time limit. After the race, take advantage of the local attractions, including the stunning Covered Bridges and the Locust Fork River, or refuel at beloved eateries like Stephen's Diner or Charlie B's. It's a great opportunity to challenge yourself, cheer on fellow runners, and enjoy the vibrant community spirit!

Organiser's Description
* Sign up and come run our XC course as many times as you can in 2 hours! A donation of $20 or more is appreciated at packet pickup to help 2025 meet timing on this trail!. Your donation will get you a bib and enter you in the competition.
* Regular running shoes are okay. The course is XC trail, grass and hills.
* Bib Pickup-Saturday, Oct 26 beginning at 6:00 am. Packet Pickup will end promptly at 7:00.
* Park in the Elementary School Parking lot.
* Race begins promptly at 7:30am in the OES field. Follow signs.
* Proceeds go to Oneonta High School Cross Country.
* Things to do after...
Visit our Covered Bridges (Horton Mill, Swann, and Easley)
Visit the Locust Fork River
(Kayak entrance between Cleveland and Blountsville)
Eat at one of our local favorite restaurants: Stephen's Diner, Miller's Diner or Charlie B's
* Awards
