Get ready for the exhilarating Tomahawk Trail Endurance Challenge taking place on Saturday, September 27, 2025, in the scenic town of Oneonta, Blount. This exciting event invites runners of all levels to tackle our exhilarating cross-country course for a thrilling two-hour challenge. Participants can run as many laps as possible on a diverse terrain featuring grass and hills, making it a perfect opportunity for both seasoned athletes and enthusiastic newcomers.
To join in the fun, simply bring a donation of $20 or more at packet pickup, which starts at 6:15 AM and ends promptly at 7:15 AM. The race kicks off at 7:30 AM in the OES field, so be sure to arrive early! Not only will you compete for awards, including special medals for those who complete nine loops, but your participation also supports the Oneonta High School Cross Country team. After the race, take some time to explore the beautiful covered bridges and the picturesque Locust Fork River. Don’t miss out on this vibrant community event that combines competition, fun, and a great cause!

Organiser's Description
* Sign up and come run our XC course as many times as you can in 2 hours! A donation of $20 OR MORE IS APPRECIATED AT PACKET PICKUP to help 2026 meet timing on this trail!. Your donation will get you a bib and enter you in the competition.
* Regular running shoes are okay. The course is XC trail, grass and hills.
* Bib Pickup-Saturday, Sept 27 beginning at 6:15 am. Packet Pickup will end promptly at 7:15.
* Park in the Elementary School Parking lot.
* Race begins promptly at 7:30am in the OES field. Follow signs.
* Proceeds go to Oneonta High School Cross Country.
* Things to do after...
Visit our Covered Bridges (Horton Mill, Swann, and Easley)
Visit the Locust Fork River
(Kayak entrance between Cleveland and Blountsville)
