With water and refreshing watermelon waiting for you at the finish line, this is an event for everyone—ages 0-12 can register for just $15, while participants aged 13-18 pay $20, and those 19 and up are $25.

_THIS YEAR'S RACE WILL BE HELD ON SATURDAY, JULY 4TH, 2026._ The fourth of July 5 K Kiwanis _FREEDOM RUN STARTS PROMPTLY AT 8:30 AM, UP SETTLEMENT CANYON, PAST THE TOLL BOOTH, _ down to Main St./State Road 36. North on Main St. where you enter the starting parade route at Main St. and Skyline Drive. The parade starts at 9:00 am. Runners follow the parade route North on Main St., West on Utah Ave., and South on 200 West, and up to the Tooele City Swimming pool park at 200 W. and Vine St. There will be water and watermelon at the end of the race. We will have water stops on the parade route. _WE DO NOT HAVE A SHUTTLE TO TAKE YOU TO THE START_.
Please register early and pick up your shirt and bibs as early as possible. It is impossible to make sure you receive a shirt, so act early. Please don't wait until the last minute. Make sure you pick up your shirts and bibs before the day of the race. (See Below). Ages 0-12 $15, Ages 13-18 $20, Ages 19 and up $25. Runner medals will be announced as soon as the runners with the winning times cross the finish line so wait times are less. There will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals for the overall fastest times for male and female. There will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd medals for each age group, both male and female. Minor changes at the start: Go past the toll gate and go to the registration area which will be just past the toll booth, at the bottom of the hill. The area is on the right and is a large gravel area with picnic tables and a port-a-potty. There will be signs for the check-in and signs for the start location about 1.5 10ths of a mile past the registration area.
