Get ready for an exhilarating day of adventure at the TPK Run the Jewels, taking place on Saturday, May 18th, 2024, in the stunning Stanhope, Sussex! This unique race offers participants the opportunity to tackle some of the most challenging and breathtaking sections of the Allamuchy State Park, along with exclusive trails within the Scout property that are typically off-limits to runners.
Racers will kick off the event on a shared route, but the excitement continues as each participant chooses their own path for the remaining sections. With a total distance of approximately 37 miles, participants can expect to navigate routes ranging from 6 to 9 miles each, featuring an impressive elevation gain of over 7,200 feet. Not only will you have the chance to conquer three returning routes, but two brand new ones have also been added for 2024! Organiser's Description
<p>We have designed the routes to include the most challenging sections that the Allamuchy State Park has to offer. Plus a few gems within the Scout property that you normal wouldn't get to run on.</br>Everyone will start on the same route but after that you get to choose what order you complete the rest in. We will not tell you which route you are doing first until race day. We will have a map posted at basecamp showing all the routes. This way you will have an idea of where each route will take you.</br>We will be bringing back 3 previous routes and adding 2 new routes for 2024. Expect each route to be between 6-9 miles, 37-ish total miles and +7200ft of elevation gain.</br>Racers will check in and out at the Camp Wheeler start/finish area after each route and before heading back out on the course.</p>
