After the run, brave souls can take a refreshing plunge into the natural lake, either immediately after the race or at 10:00 a.m. CST with the plunge-only crew (ages 13 and up). With outdoor changing stations and warming tents featuring small heaters on-site, you'll be all set to make the most of your day. Recreational 5(ish)K Run Start Time: 9:00 a.m. CST
Runners can choose to plunge right after run, or wait and plunge with the plunge only crew @ 10:00am CST
Plunge Only (without run) starts at 10:00am CST (Age 13 and up only)
Breakfast items, beverages and swag item included with the price of a ticket.

* LAKE BOTTOM IS NATURAL, SHOES OR WATER SHOES ARE RECOMMENDED.
* THERE WILL BE AN OUTDOOR CHANGING STATION AVAILABLE ONSITE (CHANGE OF CLOTHES POST PLUNGE AND A WARM BLANKET HIGHLY RECOMMENDED).
* WE WILL HAVE A FEW TENTS WITH SMALL HEATERS ONSITE TO WARM YOURSELF POST PLUNGE ALSO.

This will be a 5K-ish recreational run with the option to plunge directly after your run, or wait and plunge with all of the "plungers only" crew. Your choice, we will be there cheering you on either way! We plan to celebrate Groundhog Day in style by embracing the cold and welcome in an early Spring! Feel free to dress up! Extreme enthusiam is encouraged :) -

Kid Fun Run / Ball Pit Plunge

Kiddos can have a fun run too! This option is open to all children. Distances can be adjusted based on age. Kids will end their run with a plunge into a ball pit and receive a participation prize. All participants and spectators encouraged to stay and cheer.
