Organiser's Description
The Triangle Hurricane Championship Open Water Swim takes place in Jordan Lake outside the Raleigh area. There are 3 options: 1k, 1m, and 2m. The 2 mile is 2 loops of the 1 mile course and the 1k is a smaller triangle within the 1m course using the first site buoys as turn buoys.
Fees:
1 mile - $46 until 1 month prior, $51 until 2 days prior
2 mile - $56 until 1 month prior, $61 until 2 days prior
1k - $25 until 2 days prior
This is the 12th annual for this event. Safety boats and paddlers are on the course during the event, and post-race snacks and drinks are provided.
